I was hoping to break out with a blog of about my love for music… And then we lost to two big time entertainers. One being a pioneer in music. Mr Issac Hayes. And I wont claim to know a lot about his music. I know like two songs off the top of my head and thats because of movies. The “Shaft” theme song and “Walk on by” because it was on the “Dead Presidents” soundtrack. I guess most folks around my age or younger might even know him best as chef on South Park. But either way he will be missed.
As for the 2nd person we lost. I was pretty surprised when I saw that Bernie Mac passed. His publicist were saying that he was recovering from pneumonia, but then I read that he had been in the hospital for 3 weeks. I’m not going to even get into some of the speculation that I’ve heard from some folks. I do know that Bernie Mac was one of the funniest comedians out there. I will even go as far as to say he was one of the top ten funniest black comedians of all time. He will definitely be missed. I will let him have the last word with the clip from when he first started to get some recognition. So if you grooving to the music pause it. But if you are at work you might want to wait until you get home because Bernie Mac wasn’t always as reserved as he was on the Bernie Mac show. Just ask Obama about that show Mac did at his fund raiser. RIP to one of the funniest muthafuckas of all time. LOL
